First days of school

Bye, bye summer and what an awesome summer it was for us! We had such a great time at the pool, on our beach trips, playing with friends. It's hard to see it end. But talk about a fabulous way to start the fall - two first days of school and two awesome kids. Finley was wonderful on Tuesday and enjoyed TK. She asked if she was going to learn to read that day as she wants to read her baby brother some books! Mac went today (Thursday, Sept. 9) and he was perfect. I told him "love you" and he said "ove you, bye", he was ready to start his day. His teachers said he listened, was happy and such a good guy. We knew that would be the case, of course, he got into the car and flipped out. He fell asleep for nap in about 2 minutes. Tired kids.
